Their website is www.patrabharati.com, and email is [EMAIL PROTECTED] It is published from 3/1, College Row, Kolkata-9, It has been around for the last 36 years (I also read it in my younger years :)
It contains a variety of articles and sometimes something on computers (albeit, extremely elementary), targetted to an audience of age group about 9-18 years. Maybe, we can persuade them to start a coloumn on computers and Linux awareness. In the next phase, they could possibly be supplied with copies of various distros for free distribution with their issues. This will serve to - 1. spread awareness of Linux among the younger section of the society (now many have computers at home) 2. spread the awareness of Linux in the Bengali language 3. spread the awareness of Lug-cal. I am willing to take the lead in writing to the magazine and following up with them, but I would like some advice as to how to start. I feel the first impression should be the best. -- --K.Ghosh 093 910 58 749 [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Debian GNU/Linux user No.301508 -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the body "unsubscribe ilug-cal" and an empty subject line.
