I think you are mistaken . It is not an ilug tvm project. It was developed by Zyxware alone and the fact that a few other guys who happen to belong to the LUG doenst make it an ilug project. The ones who contributed did it purely to promote Zyxware and its activities which has been crucial to the LUG's existance. It is Zyxware who has the right to decide what can and cannot go on the toaster. GLUG cannot take credit for what Zyxware has done.
If the toaster was a project that GLUG decided upon and Zyxware helped make , then yes your arguments hold true. But as it is not the case , we should promote them . We have no claims on anything that goes on the toaster. It is a mistake to even think that GLUG provided anything to Zyxware in the toaster project. They bought the stuff needed , they paid for a guy to sit and develop the code and they planned its launch. Yes GLUG members helped. But they were Zyxware's friends first and then GLUG members. Its no big deal . Where does GLUG figure in this ? Take away Zyxware and see what GLUG has done. Its Zyxware who has been providing a platform for GLUG all along, promoting it and maintaining it . Its not the other way round . It is and will be the Zyxware toaster and seeing it as anything else would be a crime against people who worked for it. Once again , the fact that Zyxware is making a toaster doesn't mean that GLUG _has_ to get mentioned. I think i have made my point. No one from this group as a GLUG member can claim anything on that toaster. I thank the Zyxware team for mentioning ilug-tvm on www.freedomtoaster.in . I hope all of us understands this . I am not a Zyxware employee. I have been here in this group from the beginning and has been observing Zyxware for the past one year.
