But I cant agree with this, not for an argument sake, because it just questions the existence of GLUG. >>"Take away Zyxware and see what GLUG has done. Its not the other way round ."<< There are many volunteers from outside of Zyxware who worked for GLUG and not to promote Zyxware. Ofcourse I am not saying that it is the other way that Zyxware was maintained by GLUG(it would be a joke), but GLUG has and always had its importance and its existence. I stand to represent the Free Software Community. And quoting from the first para "The ones who contributed did it purely to promote Zyxware and its activities which has been crucial to the LUG's existance." What does this mean? All the GLUG volunteers who worked did it for Zyxware and not the GLUG Community or the public? Well LUG's existence is its volunteers and its activities. And I think I know the paid employee who worked to develop/rather customize the Freedom Toaster Software. He is a GLUG volunteer, does that mean if someone is paid then he is no more a GLUG-member. Ofcourse sponsored by Zyxware, that is the fact. And again if it is Zyxware's product alone as stated above, then how did it come into discussion in this Group. Rather than in Zyxware's mailing list. And how can it come into a public event of GLUG-TVM. Atleast if not a joint venture. Once more "But they were Zyxware's friends first and then GLUG members. Its no big deal . Where does GLUG figure in this ?"
