I understand the GLUGs importance. But at this point of time , GLUG owes a lot to Zyxware and no one should forget that . The fact that Zyxware hired a GLUG member to do some work doesnt make it a GLUG project . The toaster came into the mailing list only because of the relevance it has . Rather than seeing toaster as basking in GLUG's glory , try the other way around, Toaster boosts GLUG. It is important to understand Zyxware's role and motivation here. There are many volunteers who works for GLUG and GLUG is important. But it doesnt give any right to demand a place on a purely Zyxware project.
Once again this is not a sponsered by Zyxware GLUG project. This is a Zyxware project. Launching it with an Installfest should be seen as an honor . It is relevant in the lights of the installfest because of the services it provides for the FOSS community and FOSS's spreading, Anything which does that is relevant in this group . One more thing . If you had at least asked to see the Toaster graphics and banners you wouldnt have written this mail . You were here till yesterday 12 O Clock , working for the installfest.
