Junise, Did you try the options in Syam's first mail? Boot into a LiveCD (in IDE SCSI mode) and re-install GRUB to /dev/sda?
If that doesn't work, a re-install of Windows with SATA drivers might be the only solution. Also, can you post the exact error message you receive when you try to boot Windows in RAID mode? Guys, can it something which could be fixed by tweaking boot.ini? And if running TurboC++ is your only requirement for running Windows, why don't you try a virtualized DOS/FreeDOS? If you reach a point where there is no other way but to re-install windows, you can create a virtual machine running Windows. That would solve all your problems, right? (Assuming you have a pretty good processor and enough RAM, that is :) ) Regards, Kurian On Sun, Feb 1, 2009 at 10:04 AM, junise safvan <[email protected]> wrote: > ya.... > windows in (hd0,0)..... > i have downloaded the sata driver. > but how could i enter to windows when the RAID mode is not accepting > windows and the IDE mode is not even showing grub > > On Sun, Feb 1, 2009 at 10:00 AM, Syam <[email protected]> wrote: > >> >> >> On Sun, Feb 1, 2009 at 9:55 AM, Prasad SR <[email protected]> wrote: >> >>> Nop try installing SATA drivers in windows >> >> >> That shouldv'e been done during install.
