I tried that creating a launcher specified in the page specified above. I could execute a shell script bt opening it with bash but no using a launcher. i complained about no execute permission.
What the person was specifying was executing a python script. well in my opinion if u run a script that deletes all files on ur disk, can it be considered as virus or trojen? I windows we have seen, files like jpeg infected with virus. ie on clicking the file will cause execution of arbitrary code(GDI+ vulnerability for example), is such vulnerabilities found on KDE or Gnome or any other Desktop environments?
