Hello Friends, I am looking to buy a new laptop as I have some motherboard issues with my current laptop. I have fixed the brand and model. Now I am configuring(online), and it is a Dell. So in the processor part I need some help. I have two options,
Intel® Pentium® Dual Core T4200 (2.0GHz/800Mhz FSB/1MB cache)] Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T6400 (2.00GHz/800Mhz FSB/2MB cache) (will add 2400 INR) But then can someone please advice me why I should be selecting a T6400 processor for $50 more? And also why not to or why to go with T4200. It says Dual Core and Core 2 Duo but then what can be the actual difference. They both seem to be built on the same architecture and they belong to the same family. I would also like to understand the battery performance with both the processors. And performance differences if any. Please reply at the fastest. A non-technical answer based on knowledge of performance is also fine as far as I am concerned. Also what about heat dissipation between these two processors.
