You got disconnected from the Internet because of the subnet and masks
obviously. DNS - domain name services and which is simply a service which
can translate names to IPs. When you type www.google.com, the name server
you are connected to ( you are a client of that server ) translates the name
to corresponding IP you have to connect to. If the DNS can't resolve the
name, then it is pushed to the next level DNS and so on. "Can't resolve
name" occures when no servers have the name in the db. BSNL DNS servers are
near to us but normally not good because of connection interruption, bad
firewall and limited db. So I suggest you to use openDNS rather than BSNL...

BSNL DNS ( Know to me are )

And the opnDNS are
