കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം എതോപ്യയിലുള്ള ഒരു സുഹൃത്തിനു ഒരു ഫ്രീ സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര് DVD അയക്കാന് MG യുനിവേര്സിടിയിലെ തപാലാപ്പീസില് എത്തിയപ്പോഴാണ് അവിടുത്തെ ജീവനക്കാരി പറഞ്ഞ കാര്യം കേട്ടപ്പോള് തമാശയായി തോന്നി. രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ സുരക്ഷയെ മുന് നിര്ത്തി ഒപ്ടികാല് ഡിസ്ക് മറ്റു രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്ക് അയക്കുന്നത് തപാല് വകുപ്പ് നിര്ത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞാന് പിന്നീട് കോട്ടയത്തെ പ്രധാന തപാല് ഓഫീസില് അന്വേഷിച്ചപ്പോഴും അതെ മറുപടി തന്നെ കിട്ടി. അപ്പോള് തന്നെ എന്റെ മനസിലേക്ക് ചില ചോദ്യങ്ങള് കടന്നു വന്നു. 1 സുരക്ഷ രഹസ്യങ്ങള് തപാല് വഴി മാത്രമേ ഒളിച്ചു കടത്താന് വഴിയുള്ലോ? 2 രഹസ്യ വിവരങ്ങള് ഒളിച്ചു കടത്താന് ശ്രമിക്കുന്നവര് അത്രയ്ക്ക് മണ്ടന്മാര് ആണോ? 3 വളരെ വേഗത്തില് വിവരങ്ങള് രഹസ്യമായി അയക്കാന് ഇന്റെര്നെറ്റിലൂടെ പറ്റും, പിന്നെന്തിനു തപാല് വകുപ്പിനെ ആശ്രയിക്കണം? 4 രഹസ്യങ്ങള് തപാല് വകുപ്പ് വഴി അയച്ചാല് അവിടെ സമയത്തിനു കിട്ടും എന്നതിന് എന്താണ് ഇത്ര ഉറപ്പു? ഇത്തരം തുഗ്ലക്ക് പരിഷ്കാരങ്ങള് നടപ്പിലാക്കുമ്പോള് സാങ്കേതിക വിദഗ്ധരുമായി ആലോചിക്കുന്നത് നല്ലതാണു. സുഹൃത്തുക്കളെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അഭിപ്രായം കൂടി കേള്ക്കാന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. -- Vimal Kumar V.
