In which case, an acceptable response should contain the following information: 1. An example of a reliable distribution. In any case, your method of handling the situation has certain flaws. As a result of your initial post, the following things have happened: 1. Some Ubuntu users have felt the need to mention that they have been using Ubuntu without any problem for a while now. 2. A whole new thread has formed to talk about your response. 3. Your response will reinforce the idea that there is infighting in the Linux community. The following things have not happened: 1. The user has changed the distribution he is using in an effort to solve the problem. 2. The user has obtained information that moves him closer to solving the problem. In essence, your response added no value to the conversation. While I don't normally reply to blatant troll posts, it is important to nip this behaviour in the bud. Kindly refrain from taking your personal frustrations out on everybody.
