That goes for all printers, The Manufacturers have adopted a very
strange policy as to pricing, during a product launch One of the
company executive answered to this question saying one has to choose
between Hi initial cot and low operational costs Vs low cost entry with
Hi operational costs the logic is Low entry cost use then occasionally
and would not mind hi operational costs (like personal printer of
an MD /GM etc,) on the contrary a hi cost printer is usually part of
the operational team and the cost of these toners are generally low.

NONE of the vendors advocate refilling toners / cartridges and warranty
is VOID when a problem is found due to such use (personal Experience)

The refill business is there to be used at YOUR OWN RISK as every one
has to survive in today's competitive WORLD.

Am sorry for the lengthy Reply.
