Simply upgrading OS is not going to help you.
Checked whether it will work on 11.04.because
thinked might that bug solved in new version.

The sound preferences(like hardware and output configuration)
are same as worked with Ubuntu 10.04

Are you able to hear the sound ?

No,wen i plugged in frontport havn't heard any noise r sound.
So i tried backport it also results the same.
Pls suggest any recommendations to solve this problem.
