In previous post Mr.Karthikeyan did not ask you to try to plug in front and
back port. Instead he asked you whether when you play any song or video and
if you can able to hear sounds from speaker. and your complain was you are
not able to hear sounds from headset. so he said you to play an audio or
video with headset plugged and he has said you to unplug headset while the
song is still being played and now can you hear the sounds from system
speaker?

Did you try this?

System -> Preferences -> Sound
and then click on Output tab in it and select " Analog HeadPhones " as
Connector and now check whether it works?
