Yes, I know that people like you are aware of the exceptions. May be 15 in your case, and 50 in my case. I just wanted the members to be a bit more inclusive regarding the staff. I am also trying to figure out how to bring the 50 FOSS specialists to lend their services to other colleges, given the various hangups and other avoidable/unavoidable handicaps. I am sure Coimbatore Glug should be a good forum, since the colleges there had joined together in many activities like common recruitment melas, etc. When Raman, Parthan and I had gone 5-6 years back to Sri Ramakrishna Engg College to conduct a FOSS workshop for their students, we requested them to arrange a separate (parallel) session for HoDs/Sr. Lecturers from other colleges to create FOSS awareness. SREC was able to arrange one. [By the way, you might have got an invite from Prof Madhumathi of that college to inaugurate their FOSS club].
