Nope. Highly unlikely. His primary business is fonts. Piracy is killing his
business. Releasing a few fonts for Linux will only be a philanthropic move
for him. Linux is irrelevant to him till DTP operators, News houses and
Television channels moves to Linux. I had convinced him 2 years back to
release a small bunch of high quality fonts for the Linux. He had agreed,
but I did not follow up on that.

But he sure will help someone who wants to make fonts for Linux non
commercially.

Commercial Note [Sorry for the non - free nature of this, just wanted to
help someone who might be interested]:
For anybody interested - he was seriously impressed when I told him you
could make a Linux distribution for DTP operators with the fonts packaged
along with it. The catch is - the fonts need to be protected from copying.
If anybody has got a solution, he will be willing to pay handsomely.
