1.try to find if the card is detected properly from the
/etc/sysconfig/hwconf
and check if a grabber is available
(lspci also can be helpful)
2.bttv mod is inserted or not
3.also have u cross checked if ur card is supported or not...afaik Bt878
works
i worked on redhat 8 not mandrake..dnt know the path of hwconf...u need
to figure out tht
