The solution is very simple install the grub or Lilo where you kept /boot of
you PCQ2004.
My Main distro is SuSE 9.0 & when I install PCQ2004 I choose the advance
option for boot loader & install it on /hdb1 coz I assinged /hdb1 as /boot of
PCQ 2004 where as the SuSE's grub sits on /hda/mbr
SO I think you do not have to edit the grub entries manually or use knoppix to
fix it.
