and also, is the font rendering different from redhat 9 or mandrake 9.2
distros? i saw the screenshots at freetype.org, didnt impress me much as
i already have the same in mandrake 9.2

also, when i do rpm -qa|grep freetype, i get freetype v1.3. yu mean with
freetype2, rendering of the fonts in mozilla (with gtk2 patch) will be
better than before?
