Well, yes. However the issue is that 15 minutes after you've led your
205488th novice gently to the light the 205489th one turns up and then
you just lose it. As for the remaining 200 who turn up on that day
*displaying small white piece of bone* well, that's all that remains
of the last one who tried to interest me in his l33t-sp34k message.
It may help if there was general interest in the list in helping the
people who can't write English or the off-topic posters see the error
of their ways. However the list in general just seems to accept them
as part of life, and if I have to choose between apathy and rage I'll
choose the latter.
So if you (generic you) feel that the transgressors should be treated
more gently, please go ahead and give them their warnings, or let AMS
and I and our ilk do it our way.
