google uses python, NASA uses python, Govt of Hawaii uses python, Subversion uses python, Blender uses python, check out twisted, zope, plone, Cheetah, Django, Turbogears and ... but more important than the tool - is the person who wields the tool. I am told one can write good code in php and secure code too - but it is easier to do so in perl, python or ruby. So especially for an opensource project where ppl of varying skills are involved, the latter languages are better. -- regards kg http://www.livejournal.com/users/lawgon tally ho! http://avsap.org.in ಇಂಡ್ಲಿನಕ್ಸ வாழ்க! _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- [email protected] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
