i have no material at hand to make any positive contribution to this particular subject - but since viksit has fixed it, the question is now moot. i am still of the opinion that if an event/person is important enough, it will get into wikipedia when it deserves to and it is not ethical for organisers/supporters of the event/person to force the issue. I am also of the opinion that appropriate content should be put in appropriate places - the place for the announcement of a forthcoming event is wikinews - and if the news builds up enough, and if the event is worthy enough, it will make it's own way into wikipedia. -- regards Kenneth Gonsalves Associate, NRC-FOSS [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://nrcfosshelpline.in/web/ _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- [email protected] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Next Event: http://freed.in - September 28-29, 2007 Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
