Work with Evolution. Working in Webbrowsers is good for some reason, but many different reasons, you will find Mail Clients are good. Evolution is frustrating, but even then it is one of the best among available mail readers. I can't say anything about Thunderbird, used once, liked less. Outlook is better if on WIndows(becaues of mail summary on home page, but i still prefer Evolution, and wishing if it gets something like MainPage showing how many mails, pending tasks and other things are available.) > yet i can't open multiple tabs or windows and log into separate gmail > accounts concurrently. Mozilla has its cache system (as usual to other browsers) to store all the cookies. And there is restrction for site for no. of caches it can save on system (actually no. and size). Now google developer have gone with other solution. When there is a login cache (current login), the next browser with gmail will automatically open the current login account. Thats solution for many people, though your specific problem. Thats not a problem for google to change this, but they have thought it better, and also there is security context with it.

Hey bro, this is not hack :) When you open different mozilla windows, they share same resources and container to save things. Like history, cookie, cache pages and items, form field values etc. So, two firefox tabs and windows will share same container for resources. > can anybody please recommend me another, and more elegant way of > concurrently logging-in via the web to multiple gmail accounts? There are many solutions possible, 1. Use Evolution, Create Multiple A/C and done 2. Use glite library to create your own page, that will fetch different mail accounts and show you all in catagories. 3. recompile mozilla firefox with little HACK not to share the common comtainer 4. Create multiple profiles for Firefox (as told by other users) 5. Make multiple user account on computer, say user1, user2, user3 ...In terminal login as user1 and open firefox from there. Since the preference directory for firefox will be all in user's specific dir, it wont be using same cache/ and many other solutions which I don't know or think of. :) huh, most solutions are crap instead #1, use evolution or thunderbird.
