Hi,
Recently I have seen lots of posts and their replies regarding ILUG-D
elections.
I am sure there will be lots of members like me who want to know
What are these elections for?
Its Benefit(s)?
Elected for 1 year?
Where can we meet them?
Where are they held?
etc. etc.
Hence I would request for the benefit of members like me, if someone can
post a FAQs or something similar on these elections.

Thanks for bringing this up, Amit. To answer your immediate
questions, http://www.linux-delhi.org has quite a bit of
relevant information. The following links might be of help:
o About us:
<http://www.linux-delhi.org/cgi-bin/tag.cgi?action=showTag&tag=aboutUs>
o Memorandum of association:
<http://www.linux-delhi.org/cgi-bin/tag.cgi/action=showTag&tag=mod6_tag1&modId=6>

Agreed.
Have read all the posts till now by various members. Were able to
understand few points while some points just went over my head (being
honest).
I have only one question now ... how or in what way does it (the
elections and the recently nominated office bearers) help a normal
member of ILUG-D.
Something concrete ... something tangible .... something which makes
me proud to be associated with ILUG-D.
As someone mentioned, the mailing list in itself is a good enough
reason to be part of this community. I fully agree to it. But still can
anything 'out of the box' be done to have more than 5-10 members
attending the next meeting.
regards,
amit
