Hello All: Id like to introduce myself to the group...I am currently doing a lot of research and I hate to read so much, it strains my eyes. I am using Ubuntu Studio 9.10. Is there any text to speech utility that works with browsers that will read web pages to you.
I checked out ClickSpeak and firevox. Clickspeak installed a toolbar on my firefox browser, gave no errors, but makes no sounds, it can use java freetts or orca. However neither seems to be working. I have festival working from the command line, however i would like it to work from the browser. Does anyone have any open source text to speech utility in the browser working for them? -- Best regards, arjuna _______________________________________________ Ilugd mailing list [email protected] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd
