Hi,
I have a peculiar problem, my floppies or CDs do not mount.
The mount command hangs. Nor does it mount through the GUI.
It used to earlier, this problem is since I changed some
settings in /etc/fstab for the FAT filesystems (Previous mails
with subject ***Hangs at "Checking Filesystems"***). I didn't
change the CDROM or floppy settings in the /etc/fstab file, only
the HDD FAT partitions, that too changed the settings to 0 0 to
disable filesystem checking for FAT filesystems.
Could someone give me an idea what could have gone wrong. In fact,
the solution to the former problem solved many of the problems
I was facing earlier, but seems to have introduced this one :-(
