thank you for taking the initiative of posting the FM's speech-to-text the
mailing list for clarifications.
thank you also for volunteering to draft a letter to the FM proposing an
unbundling mechanism which takes care of the excise component.
unfortunately, it saddens me to note you are only focussing on OEM bundled
software. raj, in his response to your mail, points out the larger picture
from his perspective, which has considerable weight.
have also proposed a tax model/method in a similarly titled email. please
take a look at it and suggest your changes. perhaps the fine-tuned
suggestions could then be incorporated into a proposed letter to the FM.
