Sorry, I missed out a step in between: After 'iwconfig wlan0 essid xxxxxxx' do this : [giving the key] 'iwconfig wlan0 key xxxxxxxxxxxxxx'
Oh and another thing.... I just noticed that you are giving 0x1111111111 as the key. That means that is hex code. Try dropping '0x' in front of it. I could be wrong but just try it.
