Dear Ilwis users,
I am trying to export an arc info grid and import it as a raster into
Ilwis, but all the posibilities I tried resulted in an Ilwis raster map
with interger values, although the original arc info grid contains floating
point numbers.
I tried
exporting as an ASCII *.NAS file,
exporting as an interchange file *.e00
coverting the grid to an ERDAS *.lan first and then importing into Ilwis
The import dialogue window in Ilwis does not allow to set the precision of
the values to be imported, and changing the precision of the resulting
Ilwis raster map after import does not help any more.
I have imported arc info grids into Ilwis several times, but never had such
a problem before.
