I understand John, but having owned a telemarkting company, I can tell
you bulk shipping is dirt cheap. They dont pay 10$ to ship a cd. And
Apple inc in the US isnt shipping to France, Apple in France is doing
that.
Again, i can't give you specifics on aple, because I dont have there
spreadsheets, just as best of an estimated guess i can give, with how I
come to those conclusions. You can mail out a cd for a buck, i dobt
apple's cost to manufacture the cd's is over 35 cents, since there not
subjected to the tarifs on blank media. That, and mass purchaces ( if we
can get spindles of 40 cd's for under 40 CAD, imagine what there paying
for?

I don't mind shelling out a few dollars to get the update, but the idea
that apple is'nt making any money on them is untrue in my opinion.

While MS does simular stuff, i have to say, even they dont have the
audacity to charge for whats essentially a service pack so soon after
product release.
Remeber too, all the numbers I've mentioned are canadian, the 20 $ cd is
US, so 30 Canadian, still think there not making anything?

I hope this post comes across with the respectfull tone it's intended
too though, and thanks for that other matter you're helping me with
