When you click on the "apple' in the upper left corner does the list include
"Apple DVD Player", and when you open this do you get a round thing called a
'controller' for the DVD player? My theory was that the volume on the
controller was turned down so you won't get any sound out. If you don't get
the controller, check and see if you can play a DVD. If not, call the
repair tech because the DV SE should play DVD's. Sorry, but I've reached my
knowledge limit on this issue.
