For looks/performance, it *is* that big a deal. As to DVD's, think about if
you'd *ever* want to get into creating your own home movies. It's not a
matter of *you* having a DVD player. It's a matter of being able to create
funny little home movies and creating a DVD to send to friends/family.

Using iMovie is a fun, creative thing to do and once you start, you'll
*definitely* want to show others your "creations".
