Lord David Gilman once told me a story: >> Why does the Finder JUMP 10 meg in size after launching certain apps (Like >> OE)? > > Whoa! Now that's ususual. It could be a memory leak of some sort (i.e. i > had a app that would slowly choke off the machine by dumping something in > the heap and not taking anything out)
The jump in usage that you're seeing is due to the fact that MS extensions & libraries will load when you launch an MS app like OE. Nothing to be concerned about, especially now that you are running a decent amount of RAM. -- tinman [EMAIL PROTECTED] "Put your trust in God, but keep your powder dry." -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
