I'm tempted to make jokes about being in the military but I never met
this colonel, but no. I have heard phrase "kernel panic" and saw two
flatpanel iMacs in the shop yesterday both of them for that problem.
WIth my new iMac, I'm concerned. Do we know what causes it (as I
recall, something about switching back and forth between OS 9 and X, or
is it something elsse?) and most important, is there a way to avoid it
or how is it fixed after it happens?
thanks,
