Whenever i need a table, i use WriteNow 4.02.
It is very, very easy to do tables in WriteNow.
This software works fine on my 8600/G3 450.
WriteNow is difficult to find, but it is out there somewhere.
You will need to get version 4.00, then upgrade to 4.01. then upgrade to 4.02.
Cumbersome, but worth it.
Also: i think that WordPerfect 3.5e does tables pretty good, but i am unsure.
