Hello. Perhaps someone can help with this. My Entourage 2001 (OS9) Identities file has somehow gotten corrupted. When I open Entourage and click on any folder I get an instant crash and a Type 2 or Type 3 error. Rebuilding the database fails as well. I was able to fix the problem by replacing my identities file with a 3-week-old back up but would love the have the 3 weeks of emails I lost. I know there are programs for archiving messages but these require Entourage being open and selecting the messages or folders to archive (at which point I get the crash.) Importing into other email programs does not appear to be an option either. Does anyone know of a way to fix the corrupted files or archive them outside of Entourage? If anyone knows what can cause a problem like this I'd love to know this as well.
