Hey everyone;

I was reading an article in Mac Addict last month on how to install OS
X on unsupported Macs. So the other day I am at home waiting for the
plumber, I'm bored and looking for something to do? while sitting down
in my living room I catch a glimpse of my Power Macintosh 8500/120,
which has been upgraded with a 200MHz 604e card; I remember the article
in mac Addict but then I think to myself this machine only has 96 megs
of ram?
With nothing better to do I say what the heck I'll give it a try? Guess
what? It Worked!!!!
Granted its not exactly a joy to use but there it was 96 megs of ram
and all!! Anyway I ordered more ram which was really cheap, $25 from
Mac Solutions for 128MB. Maybe this week I'll see if I can get Jaguar
on it. I took a screen shot of the " About This Mac" screen for the non
believers I know, Anyway For anyone interested in trying this I'd be
more then happy to email you a copy of the article, off list of course
so you can try, however I do recommend starting with more ram.

Thanks Mike
