Yeap, As the subject states, I am having difficulty installing OS 9 on a 120 gb HD. I installed Jaguar a week ago on a brand new western digital hard drive on my imac. I then began backing everything back onto the HD. Then realized that I forgot about OS 9. When I put my OS 9 CD in to install, it doesn't recognize the HD--booting from the CD or not. I've even used another OS 9 CD with similar problem.
I know that many people want to partition the HD. I personally don't because I work with video and want as much HD space as I can have on one partition. As in this case, I did not partition the huge HD. I don't really plan on using any classic apps, but I'm just trying to install Roxio Toast Lite and it seems to only use classic. I'm starting to also think that it might just be a good idea to keep OS 9 on just in case. Now what. Any suggestions. Thanks. Mike __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
