Okay...after spending the last couple of hours making back ups and trying every possible thing I can think of to avoid having to reinitialize my hard drive...it looks as if I have no other options.
I just can't get the hard drive to mount and I guess I have to accept that the hard drive may actually be failing as Applecare suggested. I just don't trust them that much as they told me last time to reinitialize due to their claiming no other options were available and yet DiskWarrior I later learned may have been able to help.
