Thanks guys for your replys. Jeremy's recommendation seemed the easiest so I tried it first, but to no avail. I then tried Chas' recommendation but when I was on the Dos-likd screen, there were no instructions for running fsck. So I just exited out. I guess I will purchase 10.2 and do a wipe of the partion and install it.
