Hey Dale, Double click the hard drive icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Inside should be a few folders including: Applications, Applications (Mac OS 9), System, System Folder (with the 9 on it), Users, and Documents. This Documents folder is the one referred to here. Every user should have access to that folder, unless the settings on your Mac are significantly different. On another point, are you saying that if you put files in the Shared folder (located in the Users folder mentioned above) that the other user can not open them? Have you tried changing their permissions from the Get Info menu command under your account to make sure that they are readable by all users?
