OS X keeps receipts of installed updates. have a look in /Library/Receipts and see if these specific updates have files in there. if not, maybe there's a permissions issue and OS X can't write a receipt of the offending updates. if they're there, it may be that there's a permissions error that prevents OS X from reading the folder. this may be the case if OS X won't even let you open the receipts folder. if they're there, try deleting the offending update's receipts and installing them one last time. -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
