Regarding the data file sharing (I'm not sure what B2B means), at the
community college I was at the last three years, quite a few of the faculty
used Macs in their offices and as long as we were working with Word,
PowerPoint or Excel files all was well in the predominantly Windows world
there. And the faculty, with a few exceptions, were not doing video/audio
multimedia stuff, but the usual word processing, spreadsheet, database, and
presentation preparation stuff that is the day to day office work of an
educator.

As a matter of fact I have seen old Apples as the desktops and teller
windows in a Bank of America in Edmonds WA and I've seen iMacs in a few
retail establishments.
