1. Get rid of Norton immediately! 2. Get and run DiskWarrior. 3. Get and run Tech Tool Pro. 4, When you get it fixed, set up Multiple Users and block the rug rats (and others, except yourself of course) access to the System Folder. BTW, six partitions on a 20 GB drive is a little excessive, isn't it? If your iMac is a Rev A - D, then the FIRST partition should be 8 GB max.
