Nothing *particularly* special: you don't have to worry about your settings, just choose "Archive & Install" from the options and all your user prefs are saved. I'd strongly recommend running fsck, and Disk Utility's "Repair Permissions" after the install; I'd also suggest defragmenting the disk (using Plus Optimiser preferably) afterwards. _Chas_ "We don't want to be like Windows.
