Evidently there's more than one kind of firewire connector. I started to
plug my new firewire external cd box into my iMac and got out the firewire
cord that came with the iMac and one end of it is a little square, whereas
the ports in the iMac and in the cd (QUE) box are the same (as the ports on
the iMac). The QUe box has two fo these ports. Does this mean that firewire
stuff "chains" like SCSI? Or does ( zounds I  hope not) need some sort of
terminator?
