Hi Dale,

While writing this email, I am currently logged in to my fiance's UW
account. (She's write here in case anyone works for the UW computer
police :-) I am using an iMac with 10.2.3. and Internet Explorer
5.2.2. Therefore, I am thinking there is no issue between IE 5.2.2 and
Mac OS 10.2.3.

Here is what I just did:

1. Went to:
http://myuw.washington.edu/

2. Clicked on "Log in with your UW NetID"

3. Entered the UW NetID and Password

4. The browser goes to a temporary redirect page while it verifies the
info and them we are in.

How far can you get in this process?

I would look at two things at this point. When you are at the myuw
page, click on "Help/FAQs" and then on "How do I set my browser to work
with MyUW?" This has the specific settings for Macs using IE 5.2.2.
Go through all of these and double check that IE is set up as per the
instructions. Even though you may be using a copy of IE directly from
the computer center, I have found that these are not always configured
properly.

My second suggestion was to download a new copy of IE from the
Microsoft web site and configure it as per the instructions.

I think the problem has to be with the configuration of Explorer.
Double check everything. Give us a progress update when you get a
chance.

Jim
