Perhaps when Dan has time (after getting the new servers all worked
out, of course), he can look at revamping the number and scope of the
lists. Possibly this could even result in a combining of lists based
on processor or OS, or separate lists based on models, processors,
OS, etc. For example:

An iBook is just an iMac in a smaller form, yet there it is in the
G-Books list with the G3/G4 Powerbooks rather than either its own
list or this list

An example of splitting a list is:

PowerMacs, 1998.06.20-2000.04.25, was for users of Power Macs and
PPC-based Mac OS compatibles. It has been replaced by 1st PowerMacs
(for pre-PCI models), PCI PowerMacs (for pre-G3 PCI models), and
G-List (for G3/G4 machines)

You COULD even make a case that all OS X discussion falls under this
list's description:

MaX, 1999.05.19, is for Mac folk learning Linux, BSD, and other
Unix-derived operating systems. Current membership is 193.

Sincerely,
Dennis
