That would be me

I never said that nor do I agree wit it. As a matter of fact, in the original post I
said:
I have appreciated all the discussion about X, though
I do not yet have it. (Am getting it through the teacher
give-a-way, soon i hope). It has been a good way
to learn its pros and cons-via the people using it the most.
And
the shift to X is only natural as the iMacs have so shifted.

But, as Dan the Listmom has already divided the multiple lists according to interests,
it might be time for a new one. Where would a good break be IMHO? At the point
monumental change made by Apple, at the OSX difference.

Starting to sound stupid? No more so than say a separate list for:

Compact Macs, Classic Macs, Vintage Macs, Quadras, 1st PowerMacs, PCI PowerMacs, Power
Computing, PPC 603 list, StarMax, iMacs, G4 (but not G3), G-List (G3/G4/Cube)
G-Books, PowerBooks, PB 100, Powerlist, PB Duo/2400 List, iBook (as opposed to
powerbooks), General Mac Lists, LEM Swap List, Unsupported OS X
to name a few.

Funny what some think stupid, others have been able to capitalize on.
Doug

P.S. I would say "sorry for sharing my dumb idea: but that would be dumb.
