Like most, I use the mail and consider it worth a value all by itself. However, I also use the iDisk as an off site storage for critical files. I also find Backup useful. While not as full featured as Retrospect, it does what claims satisfactorily. Is it worth the cost? That's an individual decision. In my case as previous .mac subscriber the price was only half to sign up, and then they gave us 2 years, as a reward for signing up early. It's certainly worth that price.
