Regarding Appleworks, I don't even pretend to know if you can put Appleworks 6 onto OSX. However, I do know that I found v.6 very frustrating to use until I upgraded to 6.2.2. So, if you CAN run it on OSX, get the upgrade! Just thought I'd pass that on.
